Overview
Gras-zlǟm Ner was founded durring the late 16th century in spring of the year 1466, by Tsmeshê Unzabu. The establishment of Gras-zlǟm Ner was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Tsmeshê Unzabu struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Gras-zlǟm Ner as a prison colony.
Gras-zlǟm Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gras-zlǟm Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Gras-zlǟm Ner is is constructed arround a series of broad flagstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's somewhat suffishent are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
A look around Gras-zlǟm Ner makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. Cultural Notes
Gras-zlǟm Ner's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
